Where is Maldives Located
An Island Country, Maldives is located in the Indian ocean to the south of India’s Lakshwadeep Islands. It is actually located on the west of Sri Lanka and extends up to 823Km. It is very close to the equator at the Northern side of the Equator.
It is actually on the Latitude between 4 degrees and 17 degrees North and Longitude 73 degrees and 50 degrees East. It is one of the smallest Asian countries. It has about 1192 beautiful coral islands that spread in it’s over 26 natural atolls.
